I can't help but to be very proud of men like John Tuggle, who at 25 played football on the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants pro football team. And then died in his sleep at 25 years old, after succeeding against all odds to simply make the team.
And in his last moments knowing that what he had was terminal he visited Head Coach Bill Parcells all sharply dressed up in Bill's Coaches office, for one last toast. To share his gratitude and appreciation for all of what Bill Parsell did for his pro football career.

To have one last drink says everything about the intangible quality's that we just can't see in people until it is in plain sight, because of who they really are. That is what real men and women are truly made of in the best and worst moment of their life together with us.

Film Summary

John Tuggle, the 1983 NFL draft's Mr. Irrelevant, was anything but irrelevant to legendary coach Bill Parcells. The normally tough and gruff coach will guide us on an emotional journey as he recounts his own rookie season as the head coach of the New York Giants and the year he came to know this very special athlete who made his team against all odds. But only one year later, a rare and unbeatable form of cancer would change both John's and Coach Parcells' destinies leaving behind a lasting impact on teammates and the life of the coach who understands just how fragile life can be.
