Because frankly how can we have fun looking at Les Miles coach LSU anymore, knowing what we know now.

Rabalais: With so many young stars, the next year could be epic at LSU

BY SCOTT RABALAIS|

Raid the vacation fund for some season tickets. Wipe those remnant episodes of “The Governor’s Wife” off the DVR. (It’s a good idea no matter what.) And it’s probably a good idea to make room on the wall of your Tiger den for another LSU Advocate sports poster. Suitable for framing, naturally.
As the lazy summer days melt into the frenetic fall, we draw closer and closer to what could be an epic athletic year on the LSU campus.

You’ll want to be prepared.

Athletic talent at LSU is rarely in short supply. It grows like the sugar cane from the fertile Mississippi River bottomlands that are within view of Tiger Stadium’s massive superstructure. It’s exported by the barge-full to professional leagues and competitions the world over.

That is all well and good enough, but stupid always loses. And isn't the LSU tiger football fans simply tired of watching Les Miles choose to coach a stupid LSU football game, and always losing the football game that stop them from becoming a Champion again?

And why then does the LSU football fans who settle for an 8-5 LSU football season always complain about the LSU fans who would like the LSU tigers to win another Championship of being disloyal, or worse.

No! I think that the LSU football fans are a house divided and only give another excuse for the power running the LSU college football
program, a reason not to fire Les Miles. And not go out and hire a smarter Head College Coach who does not run the LSU RB's into a wall of defenders, and who know the LSU plays as well as the LSU players, and fans do. It is hard to have real fun at watching a LSU football game in LSU Tiger Stadium these days, because frankly how can we have fun looking at Les Miles coach LSU anymore, knowing what we know now.

I am a major Tiger fan, but I see no way this season could be anything but an epic fail without a real college QB. Please let me know if we picked one up somewhere

Good news for you Vince. Harris put on a lot of weight since last year. He's at 212 lbs. This was about the only thing that I thought might be holding him back from being a stellar quarterback.

So with Franks coming in next year, and Harris sturdy enough to handle the reigns this year we have two quarterbacks, and several more on the way too.
I knew you'd be glad to learn this.

I'm with you Rabalais, but don't it seem like lately (past 3-4 years ) something has always derailed our
hopes and dreams. I wish my memory, would give me the ability to recite all that went wrong but for now
i'll leave it to your own memories. I try and stay positive and think the stars will align.

Bill SniderAustin only 1 team wins the Championship each year. The other 2 or 3 hundred teams aren't failures just because they didn't finish in first place. We're due for an outstanding several seasons coming up though. I thinks we'll all be pleasantly surprised.
