“One of the biggest questions I get is from people in college [about student loans],” Donald J. Trump
told The Hill. “They’re in college — they’re doing well but they’ve got
student loans up to the neck. They’re swimming in these loans. That’s
probably one of the only things the government shouldn’t make money off —
I think it’s terrible that one of the only profit centers we have is
student loans."
"They’re swimming in these loans," the businessman said of college students.

- Thomas Williams: Trump is trying to persuade Washington DC to stop hiding behind the cloakroom and start standing up before the American people like men again. It Congress want to give our college student a break or not on their student loans. That has become a U.S. Government disgrace by working hand and glove with the big money dealers to keep so many people in debt, who are only trying to pay for their higher college education...And Mr. Trump feel like he could make a more honest deal with our American students, without the government corruption. And I agree.
- Daniel Lewis Sherrill: Well hell, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
- Peggy Auwerda: Yes why do they charge so much interest on loans?----------
