So I hope that Jim is right, but I truly doubt that he is.

It's a little more than a month to the first game but never too early to preview the LSU football schedule. Listen up as I break it down with radio host Karen Henderson of 1150-AM.

Unlike the past two seasons and four of the last five, LSU does not open with an opponent from one of the other four power 5 conferences. But the Tigers do jump into SEC play with tough tasks in Week 2 and 3. A trip to Mississippi State and an afternoon game with Auburn in Tiger Stadium Sept. 19.

If LSU can get off to a good start, it will be primed for a tough stretch in the final month when the Tigers face Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M to close the season. Scroll down and listen:

Thomas Williams: Comments-That was indeed a very optimistic outlook by Mr. Jim Kleinpeter for the 2015 LSU fighting tiger college football team, knowing all of the problems that head Coach Les Miles is having at QB. Miss State on the road with the best QB in the SEC, Auburn is considered a real strong college football team who score lots and lots of points. And I hope that South Carolina is not any better also. Alabama, Arkansas, Texas A&M, are very much going to be a real problem for these LSU football players. So I hope that Jim is right, but I truly doubt that he is.
