Recruiting is of course the very first step towards winning the important college football games that you want to play. Because no matter how good of a football coach you might be your team needs talented athletes to keep playing the game successfully. And that usually means that the best fighter is going to win the fight.
So if you are lucky enough to recruit the better athlete coming out of high school that is the right beginning into how you are likely to finish at the end of the college Football season.
Without a fast strong horses to run in the race you cannot win the game no matter who you are. And then also no matter how talented of an athlete you are without the right management, or coach, you will not have a winning team. So a football team cannot live without the other if you want to really become a champion.
Getting lucky is one thing but winning more than your share is completely something else. On the doorway leaving the University Alabama clubhouse there is a bronze plaque of Bear Bryant that reads. "Football is discipline eye control."
Because the offense knows the play that they are going to run, and that the defense does not. Except if they are playing against LSU. Then the defense already know what the LSU football team is going to run over and over again.
And LSU Head Coach Les Miles keeps saying. "Everything is OK because LSU practices that."
Then the LSU football fans makes a sign saying. "We love you Les Miles" And the LSU football players carry Les Miles off the field singing we love you too coach. Wahoo!!! LSU.
