This is some Mardi Gras footage filmed by my Uncle L.J. back in 1954. Some of it was taken on Canal St. and some in the French Quarter. I don't know anybody in the clip but I just assume it was just random filming. I was only 2 yrs old when this was taken. I didn't realize that you could take home movies in color back then! ...
