Colorado presidential primary bill would allow independents
Measure follows chaotic, controversial caucuses in Colorado this year

The Denver Post
Republicans and Democrats on Thursday will announce a plan for a Colorado presidential primary that would allow the state's unaffiliated voters to participate.
More than one-third of Colorado voters — the largest bloc — are not affiliated with a party. The legislative proposal would allow them to choose which party's primary they would wish to participate in.
Thirty days after the state primary, the registration would expire, said Rep. Dominick Moreno, a Democrat from Commerce City and one of the authors of the bill.
The measure would apply only to the presidential race. All other party caucus operations, including selecting delegates in the nomination process, would remain the same, he said.
"At the end of the day, we want as many people to participate in the primary as possible."Read more....http://www.denverpost. com/election/ci_29792597/ colorado-presidential-primary- bill-would-allow-independents

primafacie • Good-freaking-lord ... actual party members rightfully complain that they don't have a direct voice in their nomination processes. So what do the parties inexplicably do? Propose to allow non-members to have a direct voice in their nomination processes.
Brilliant. Akin to McDonalds giving Burger King shareholders, or worse, non-shareholders of any kind, a voice in company matters.
Never underestimate the dimwittedness of politics.

What are our chances for real change?
The American people are right on target. We are being lectured to by these political gurus, all the while they've been selling us out for years.
Most everyone are seeing things now as clearly as I ever have. A pitiful scene in America, isn't it?
This is exactly right and correct. They’d rather sell us out; and see Hillary as President than lose that country club!! Is this pitiful or what? The Political correct Government corruption trying to control the way you and I vote...We are so correct: it is a fixed game for the country club. Period.
Well it's been going on a long time, what we describe. It remains to be seen just how much damage has been done to the country club.
If Hillary wins the country club will recover and go on business as usual. DT winning is probably the only chance we have in our lifetime of seeing something really change.

Follow the shiny object, see it's not difficult, no problem here.
They broke our trust, lied to us, covered it up and now distract us.

Why would we think that now isn't a good time to start a new party?

Couldn't agree more. Every Republican had a voice in this matter -
either they voted for their delegates in their caucus on March 1st or
they sat on their couch not caring about the candidate they so-called
supported. Either way their voice was counted (by not showing up forced
the count to change in their precinct...nice going people...). Now we
get to enjoy the independents and anyone who wants to determine the
direction of the Republican party regardless of actual Republicans.
Idiotic...a business would never survive - how does this country
survive?
