Clermont--home
of Robert Livingston who administered the oath of office to George
Washington. Now is a NY State park on the Hudson River.
Thomas Williams: Their
spirit and personalities still lives much stronger than the bricks and
mortar of the building where they laid, lived, and died. And the place
where they worked trying to give you and me the chance to have a
Government for and by the people.
Even though that same Government has been abused so many times now by other people since then, their sentiment of Government fairness for everyone like you, and me, has not been forgotten by us the people anyway.
How could what they did back then ever be changed by the people now?
No! Rather only push aside for a time by the Washington DC Clan members who rule today. As they keep protecting their ill begotten means from their Government corruption of our country's wealth and honor that we inherited from men like Robert Livingston, George Washington, all those many years ago.
Yes that is the home of one of the people who spread a very kind and friendly Government spirit all across the world.
I simply wish that we all could have had enough good parents who could remember Robert Livingston, and his home, with gratitude and appreciation like we do too.
