Omaha Beach, D-Day, the 6 of June 1944
Tinker
Only great passion from a deep love could make the men and women storm the beach in Normandy on the 6 of June 1944. Without that kind of raw nerve that built up within them from a lifetime of devotion with the people they love. Could make those people march into a hail of bullets and bombs tearing at their body in that violent fight to retake France from Germany.
Would you and could you do what they did back then. Or is that something that we will never know.
The honor of our fallen solider is of course theirs alone because the highest of all honor is truly only achieved by the worthy deeds who had what it take to do what they did then.
I think that is what a soldier's prideful salute is all about, right?
I mean you know nothing like the fools that we have running the White House in Washington DC now?
