I will never regret knowing the Brave, strong, and true people in my life.

Ces Guerra - Facebook

One of my favorite quotes! Explains much about our selfish entitled society. The first time I read this was in 1980. It was in the graduation program of the Primary Leadership Course for Non-Commissioned Officers.

I’ve never shared it here until now. #patriotism #americafirst #DutyHonorCountry

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares about more than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the existing of better men than himself.”

John Stuart Mill

Thomas Williams
-  It's a shame that the wasteful moments we lived with some of the most pleasant things in our life, true friendships, true love, and otherwise, not so much. The worst regret is realizing how the people in our US government were not like us and did not care what happened to us while maneuvering their total power to keep them wealthy and unaccountable to you and me. That is the most regretful thing to me is in the way they are not worthy of your trust, hurting us over and over again. One day the American people might vote in the same direction and throw those evil guys out.

“The moving finger writes; and, having writ, moves on: nor all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel half a line, nor all thy tears wash out a word of it.
