I just walked inside because the Georga weather is cold, making my Birthmark darker. My Birthmark is a tiny thousand blood vessels, activated blood vessels, an abnormal amount of tiny blood vessels at the skin's surface. There's a medical name for this kind of tumor. Named "hemangioma (he-man-jee-O-muh). The mark shows up at birth or in the first month of life. I learned to accept my lot in life to have a more mature attitude. I grew up quickly because of where this mark is on me, my right cheek and face. Lucky women still liked me, so it wasn't all that important to how I looked in public.

There are many ways we can feel like we are in jail, frustrated to walk free, and I learned people with the right attitude can still free themselves from the limitations holding them back from where they want to go. My life wasn't so bad because most people understand about scars and hurtful things that happen to us when and where no one can do anything about it. My Birthmark taught me not to be another insufferable pretty face, and when you start to feel sorry for yourself, look around. There is always someone else much worse off. I still see other people who are so brave, strong, and truthfully helpful I want to kiss them.
