Benjamin Matthew Victor is an American sculptor living and working in Boise, Idaho. He is the only living artist to have three works in the National Statuary Hall in the United States Capito. He is currently sculpturing his fourth statue for the Statuary Hall of Daisy Bates. This sculpture is called Lady of Shalott.The theme of The Lady of Sharlott:is a compelling poem that explores the themes of isolation, art, the conflict between societal expectations and individual desires, and the consequences of denying one's true self.
