The names were changed to protect the innocent, telling you a recent story I know about being a close friend of these people involved. A true story that is not fiction about a woman becoming the last one left behind just because of the passing of time.
Oh, life once again became very harsh for Gail Taylor the baby of her Mother and Father's family of five first losing her Mother to cancer, her Father to heart trouble, her older brother to cancer, and now finding out her favorite middle Brother Tim went to the bathroom, suffering a heart attack never to wake up.
Gail was now the only one left from her family of five never marrying, not having children of her own.
Gail was alone except for several friends. Her thoughts drifted back to the 1960s playing and running around the outside of her mother's summer Mississippi home with Tim on a broomstick imaginary horse having a lot of fun making up another game together when everyone else did something else. Gail loved Tim becoming very close and open to each other.
Tim went on to be married and have three children of his own. They talked just about every day rain or shine of the week they picked up where they left off as though time and distance or changing circumstances didn't matter.
Mostly talked about football when they also played choosing each other beating the other boys around the neighborhood. Tim was an above-average athlete and Gail did well herself outplaying the young males to their horror from time to time.
Their Childhood together was a close fun experience for both of them going into their teen years growing older.
