Why the mystery?

Why the mystery?

"Both Jesus and Mary were born through Immaculate Conception, and Both Jesus and Mary were Sinless. Catholics I await your answers."

----

D Patrick Keating

I don't think anyone ever said that either was sinless. I'm not sure where you got that information. And I don't recall Mary being born by Immaculate Conception. She was involved in one - the birth of Jesus. But she wasn't born that way.

And what's your problem with Catholics? Mess with someone other than fellow Christians

Thomas Williams Tommy Straight replied

What better way for God, a spirit to show the population that God is as real as you and me than by conception inseminating Mary with God's divine spirit, Jesus? Born like everyone else. You can believe that or not, as for me. I do believe Mary and Jesus are the chosen people of God I love them a lot.

Jesus Appears to Thomas

26 Eight days later, His disciples were once again inside with the doors locked, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!”…

AI Overview

In John 20:29, Jesus, after Thomas's confession of faith ("My Lord and my God"), says, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed," implying that true faith is more profound when it's rooted in trust rather than just physical evidence.
