Tinker Town: "The new additions to the SEC, Texas A&M, Missouri, are really not going to effect the outcome of what everyone expected to finely happen this year in 2012."
GoldRing: "Yeah, that about right. Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina, are the five teams that will be fighting it out this year."
Blank: "Missouri, will beat some SEC teams this year. And so will Texas A&M."
Tinker Town: "Yeah, they will beat Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Miss State, Auburn."
GoldRing: " What about Florida?"
Tinker Town: " No, Florida will not lose to them. They will only lose to the SEC stronger five."
GoldRing: " LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia."

Alex Scarborough | TideNationTUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- At SEC media days in Hoover last week, time was
taunting the crowd. Forty-six days was all that stood between them and
the start of the football season. Spring and summer evaporated and
suddenly a handful of weeks was all that separated the offseason from
Day 1 of college football. Read more...http://espn.go.com/------------------------------

Dandy Don's LSU Sports ReportGood morning, Tiger Fans.
Next week LSU football news will really start to pick up as the Tigers report to camp on Wednesday and begin practice Thursday. The team will be divided into two groups for the first three practices, Thursday through Saturday, with the “varsity” players practicing at 9:25 each morning and the “freshmen and select veterans” practicing at 4:15 each afternoon. Sunday the team will hold its first full-squad practice at 9:20 a.m. From then until Friday, August 10, the team will practice every day except for Tuesday, August 7, which is Media Day. On Saturday, August 11, the Tigers will conduct a closed scrimmage at 11:05 a.m. before getting ready for Fan Day which will begin later that day at 3 p.m. I'm going to do my best to attend at least one practice per week, hopefully more, if my schedule allows, and I look forward to reporting what I see.
It's hard to believe that practice is right around the corner and that Game Day is only five weeks from today. Ever since baseball season ended over six weeks ago, it's been a challenge to find something interesting to write about each day. I'm glad that so many of you have been enjoying our jersey countdown to football season, but I know that some of you are getting anxious for something more, and I am too. We'll resume our jersey countdown today at No. 35, and we'll continue our player profiles all the way to Game Day, although they will take less and less precedence once news starts to emerge from football practice.
