The Olympic games and LSU athletes/something to watch as we get closer to reporting about the Fall American football practices.

Tinker Town: "The Olympic games has always been a very entertaining event for me. Ever since my Father first told me about Jim Thorpe achievements, back in the day ( was it the 20s ). I became a fan of track and field because of that story. Swimming, Fencing, Soccer, ect, was always a side bar to my real interest in the track and field events. Poll vault, Long Jump, Javelin, Shot put, Sprinting, the Mile, Hurdles, 100 yard dash, 200 yard dash, all them track and field events was my true focus when the summer Olympics games came around every 4 years.

Now we have ( Bolt ) running under 10 seconds, in the 100 yard dash. Back in my father time the 20s, 30s, 40s, we also saw a lot of very great track and field athletics.
LSU's Glenn "Slats" Harbin was a hero of the LSU tiger fans in my Fathers day. I of course pull very hard for the LSU athletes that make the Olympic game. When I see them."

If you hold them, I'll throw it into their end zone:

Tinker Town: "The Black and Gold darter thrower Drew Brees. Some people call him a rifleman, but I see him more of a Quarterback throwing darts into a small red bull eye. Over and over again. It is very clear by now that Drew Brees is going to move the New Orleans Saints offense down the football field for touchdowns.

I mean really, Brees topped Marino’s record of 5,084 yards with a 9-yard touchdown pass to Darren Sproles on Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons.Brees entered the game with 4,780 yards, needing 305 to set the record. He has passed for 300 yards or more an NFL-record 12 times this season — with one game still to play.
Brees threatened Marino’s record once before in 2008, when he finished with 5,069 yards, making him and Marino the only quarterbacks to pass for 5,000 yards in a season...http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/drew-brees-breaks-dan-marinos-nfl-single-season-passing-record-in-win-over-falcons/2011/12/27/gIQANMK0KP_story.html
Are the New Orleans Saints going to make a lot of touchdown in this coming 2012 pro football season. You can bet your last dollar that they are. This Saints football team is more stable and now because of all the bad finger pointing calling them ugly names, and punishment. I am looking for a team on fire to strike a blow of their own. They can fan their guns in just about another month. I hope with a little luck, and some get back justice. The Drew Brees lead New Orleans Saints football team go all the way one more time."
