Financing for Tiger Stadium south end zone expansion approved - Built from the strength of the spirited LSU fighting tigers football players hard work, heart, and legs:

Tinker Town: "How much of an advantage does one college football team have over the other?"

GoldRing:"Not that much when we get right down to the difference of why a college football team wins. So meany intangible reasons are involved with the very nature of a football game. Who has the faster, bigger, stronger, and the most talented replacements on a team in a football game. That is the drop dead reasons why the more established college football teams keep winning more than they lose."

Blank: "The faster, bigger, stronger better train college football players are very plentiful to the USC, Oregon, Alabama, LSU, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma, and the other better known college football team playing today."

Tinker Town: "The team history of the college football teams is another very big reason one college football team makes better plays than the other less known opponents do, and then go on to win. They sometimes really do try harder, because of who they are."

Mark Edwards: Saban-Miles dynamic is dynamite for the SEC

Written by

HOOVER — For now, at least, Nick Saban and Les Miles are the ham and cheese of Southeastern Conference football.
You know — two things that are different and don’t need each other to be good, but still go well together.
We’ve talked on and on and on before about how they're different. Saban, the Alabama coach, is well-organized, overly serious, blah, blah, blah, while LSU’s Miles apparently flies by the bill of his oversized hat and seems way too happy about being interviewed by CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson at halftime of his most important games.Read more...http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/article/20120720/SPORTS0401/307200014/

SEC Media Days - Now What?

The injured superstars.

If every player on a college football roster this season was available for the NFL draft right now, and no one had any injury issues or concerns whatsoever, South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore, Arkansas RB Knile Davis, Florida DE Ronald Powell and Alabama OT Cyrus Kouandijo would all be first round selections. There are plenty of superstars throughout the SEC, but these four are special talents who might
hold the keys to the conference season in their hands, or more accurately, their legs.
