The SEC is extremely tough! It has been 14 years since anyone repeated as conference champs. We shall see what happens.

Although Louisiana has a lower population then many other states
in our country. The people living here are blessed with some of the very
best football players in all of football. Generations of very blessed
athletes. The LSU coaching staff has been recruiting the very best of
these college football players who wanted to come play football for the
purple and gold.
While we were resting after work, they were training hard, pumping iron, running, pushing against the load. Hurting over the stress and strain to keep building up their bodies. Crying, sticking to the grindstone, sharpening their skills. Over and over, day after day, week after week, month after month. They were doing all of this for the opportunity to have a chance to succeed at being a good LSU fighting tiger football player.
I looked at them in the spring game, and the past LSU football players have never looked as big, or thicker, or faster, as these men that I saw in the spring game. They are the best football players that I have ever seen at LSU. I just hope that I don’t let them down. That I am as good of a LSU fighting tiger football fan as they are as a football player. It must have taken a lot of passion to come from as far back as these men have come. To be the men I see. If I was them, I would be very proud too.
