The hate factor and Television:

Tinker Town: "If we were to believe the sensationalize TV Networks sports shows broadcasted across America these days. You would surely think that the athletes, and people living in this country are some of the most uncivilized crude insane people in all of human history. No wonder the rest of the people around the world say that they don't like America?"

LSU takes 'team ownership' after Mathieu

August, 12, 2012
By David Helman | ESPN.com
This LSU team's reaction to the sudden dismissal of Tyrann Mathieu is equatable to ripping off a Band-Aid.

Barkevious Mingo
Josh D. Weiss/US PresswireBarkevious Mingo (49) said LSU won't lose any swagger because of Tyrann Mathieu's dismissal.
Early Saturday afternoon, about 24 hours after the Tigers' star cornerback was booted off the LSU roster, members of the team met with the media for the first time. But more telling than their disappointment was their acceptance and resolve in the face of the situation. F LSU...Loser State University!

Oh, did you come up with that all by yourself? Good job..give yourself a high five..

LSU can pretend all they want but when the season starts their gonna miss that guy a lot and they know it.

Think of all those turnovers he forced that changed the face of games(Oregon and WVU). I still think LSU will meet USC in the title game, but it won't have the luxury of a game changer in the secondary, or on defense in general.

Don't forget those two punt returns against UGA in the SEC Championship game too. Those definitely changed the course of that game.

Last year they would have been 9-4 and probably no better without him.

Lsu will be fine..we have great DB's that were behind him...they were locking down Odell beckham who is a top tier WR if you haven't heard of him..look up his highlight video vs Kentucky...but our offense will pick up any slack the D will leave..we adopted the forward pass with MettenBerger and that will only open up the run too.. See y'all in Miami.
Have to wonder if he wanted/needed to get out of there. The fans hardly inspire loyalty. Nothing like drunks lisping hateful rhetoric about their athletes especially when they do not know what really happened. He saw the way they turned on Jefferson in a flash. Never heard them burp and apologize. Not famous for having any class, those fans.

Jefferson earned his reputation at LSU with his inconsistent play..unwarranted cockiness and terrible off the field issues...otherwise, if you keep your nose clean LSU will love you more than their own mothers...
