A band of suckers forming a society of fools; Ravens (14-6) vs 49ers (13-5-1)

Tinker:

Fox news is playing the conservative people in America for fools who are needing to hear a supporting point of view. In that way the Fox network is gaining more cable ratings. Then the other cable TV networks.

MSNBC is doing the reverse trick of the TV trade. By shaping their programming to
appealing to the liberal American people point of view.

CNN is trying to simply find their way back into popularly, by doing a little bit of both.

On and on it goes. The TV networks delivery of what just might catch on to the addicted television eyes of the most TV viewers on a daily basis. Popular is money to the stripteaser entertaining TV business.

The Americans people tolerance in all of the televised advertising products for all consumers goods everywhere.  Is simply a way of life to the American citizens.  I must admit that some of this bunch of foolishness can really be very, very, funny. Take a look!?

Banned Super Bowl Ads
Few things can guarantee that a Super Bowl ad racks up views like having it banned from the broadcast of the game.

Ahead of Super Bowl XLVII one of the most talked about Super Bowl commercials is one from Pornhub that was rejected by CBS. According to a statement from the adult website, the very "safe for work" ad was rejected because "CBS Television Network Standards do not permit advertising related to pornography."

Ravens hold off 49ers in thriller

Joe Flacco, John Harbaugh and Ray Lewis discuss their big win.

NEW ORLEANS (AP)

Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens were turning the Super Bowl into a rout when, without even a flicker of warning, the power went off. When the game resumed 34 minutes later, the San Francisco 49ers were the ones playing lights out.

Instead of a blowout, the blackout turned the big game into a shootout.

The Ravens survived the frenzied comeback by the 49ers for a thrilling 34-31 win at the Superdome on Sunday night and their second NFL championship in 11 years.
''How could it be any other way? It's never pretty. It's never perfect. But it's us,'' coach John Harbaugh said after winning the sibling showdown with younger brother Jim. ''It was us today.''
Barely.

Leading by 22 points when most of the Superdome lights and the scoreboards went dark early in the third quarter, the Ravens used a last-gasp defensive stand to hold on after the momentum strangely swung to the 49ers. San Francisco receiver Michael Crabtree was bumped in the end zone on the 49ers' final offensive play — the contact appeared incidental — but coach Jim Harbaugh insisted a penalty should have been called.

''There's no question in my mind that there was a pass interference and then a hold,'' Harbaugh said. See video and read more...http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/super-bowl-xlvii-baltimore-ravens-beat-san-francisco-49ers-34-31-power-outage-joe-flacco-ray-lewis-john-harbaugh-020313

Top recruit Robert Nkemdiche says decision 'getting hard' after LSU visit

LSU rolled out the red carpet for Robert Nkemdiche this weekend -- a move that could ultimately land the consensus No. 1 prospect.

Before top recruit Robert Nkemdiche visited LSU this weekend, the general consensus was that he would likely join his brother Denzel at Ole Miss. And while that remains a distinct possibility, LSU made a strong final push for his signature, thanks in large part to a fun-filled few days that included a rendezvous with Shaquille O'Neal at Texas De Brazil and a Wale concert, during which fans importuned the prized recruit to sign with LSU.

Throughout the visit, Nkemdiche, and best friend and fellow recruit David Kamara were active on
Twitter, keeping followers apprised of their latest musings.

All accounts are that the visit was an overwhelming success, and that the LSU coaches and support staff did a masterful job at selling Nkemdiche and his father on the program's virtues. Nkemdiche, recruiting coordinator and running backs coach Frank Wilson and defensive line coach Brick Haley appear to have cemented their bond, which could account for LSU's recent surge. Super Bowl XLVII delayed by power surge that caused lights to go out in Superdome

NEW ORLEANS – Super Bowl XLVII suffered an extraordinary and embarrassing delay on Sunday evening when a power surge caused most of the lights at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to go out with 13:22 left in the third quarter. The power outage delayed the game for 34 minutes.
The Baltimore Ravens were leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6 when the scoreboard ceased operations at 7:37 p.m. CT and all except a bank of ceiling lights stopped working. The emergency lights that came on were the same ones that were used during Hurricane Katrina when the Superdome became an impromptu shelter for thousands seeking refuge.

NFL officials said that the issue was with an outside power feed that was beyond the stadium's control. Health and safety rules dictated that a number of checks and protocols had to be completed before the lighting could be brought back. Head referee Jerome Boger and his crew explained to coaches Jim and John Harbaugh that each team would be given a warm-up period in order to get themselves ready to play once again. Both teams declined, opting to re-start the game once the lights came back on.

"Stadium authorities are investigating the cause of the power outage," the NFL said in a statement. "We will have more information as soon as it becomes available."

The shutdown took place with the 49ers attempting to drive down the field, and the malfunction left players, officials and fans stunned. The refereeing crew ordered the players to the sidelines while trying to access information from stadium officials.
Both squads stretched and tried to stay loose on the sidelines while maintenance crews worked on the situation.

For around 10 minutes confusion reigned, before an announcement over the stadium speaker system instructed spectators to remain in their seats as service would be resumed "momentarily."
Minutes before the interruption, singer Beyonce Knowles had performed in a lavish halftime show that featured huge banks of lighting and electronic effects.

The delay did not dampen the spirits of the Ravens players or their support, still buoyant after a spectacular start to the second half, when Jacoby Jones ran the kickoff back 108 yards, the longest kick return for a touchdown in Super Bowl history.

The power outage was the biggest Super Bowl mishap since 2011 in Dallas, when 850 angry fans were denied entry to the stadium due to fire marshals ruling some seating sections unusable.
As the delay stretched on, quarterback Colin Kaepernick cut a lonely figure on the 49ers sideline, isolated from his teammates for several minutes, before eventually warming up and then huddling with back-up quarterback Alex Smith.

The scoreboard resumed operation at exactly at 8 p.m. CT. The game resumed 11 minutes later.
In 2006, when U2 and Green Day played the pre-game concert at the re-opening of the Superdome following Katrina, the stadium's general manager Doug Thornton was concerned about how long the lights would come back back on then.

This is not the first time the NFL has experience a power outage during a game. The lights went out at Candlestick Park during a Monday night game between the 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers game in 2011. That delay lasted 35 minutes.
