  Brad C Herman To me it is more worrisome that our best and brightest scientists and doctors can't figure it out. Coronaviruses have been studied for years and this one with a few alterations to prior ones, comes along and nobody can find a consistently effective treatment and nobody can predict to within an acceptable threshold of error, who will have a mild case and who won't. It is these issues that are causing the hysteria because it is these tail events that nobody in the field can figure out. I have a Ph.D. in biomedical science and understand virology albeit my work was in Orthopedics. We should be better than we are at this. We have to apply a "one size fits all" approach to the economy because our scientists can't solve this bug

    Yes, there are a few thorny questions, but when you look at mortality by demographic, it's hard to argue that anyone should be prevented from going to work.
