Tinker Town: "The LSU fighting tiger football teams talent and ability was so good this year, that this team won/lost record is 8-2. In spite of not having a very good scoring offense. LSU offensive efficiency was very off and on at best all year long. But the easy 2012 LSU football schedule and superior talents still has coach Les Miles LSU football team with a over all very good winning record. Just like coach Les Miles said. quote: "Everything is alright."

Hatter chatter to focus on final 2012 home game

The end zone is in sight.
With just two regular season contests left to play, LSU is on the back end of a topsy-turvy 2012 campaign.
The fact is, that back end is on the heels of a stretch as tough as any in the country, as the Tigers just finished a five-game swing against five-straight top-25 opponents.
Up next are two much lesser foes, with Ole Miss the first on tap for Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
As usual, Les Miles will step in front of the cameras and recorders around 12:30 p.m. today to reflect on the Tigers’ rebound win over Mississippi State and preview Senior Day’s contest against the Rebels.
The only injury concern seems to be Josh Williford, whom Miles said would play against Alabama. Williford, however, did not play, and did not dress for Saturday’s win over State.
Everything else should be coming up roses for Miles. Be assured, he will be asked about the development of QB Zach Mettenberger, who put on another excellent display against the Bulldogs, as well as the budding chemistry in the entire passing game.
There may be some pressing concerns with a secondary that allowed too much space to State QB Tyler Russell, as well as continued issues with turnovers and strange decisions on special teams.
Miles will address all that and more in the coming moments. You can follow us here for more in-depth coverage and on Twitter (@Tiger_Rag) for quotes and snippets in real-time.

LSU Coach Les Miles said SEC champion should play for BCS title
on November 12, 2012
Baton Rouge - LSU Coach Les Miles on Monday said that the SEC football champion should play for the BCS title.
Speaking at his weekly press conference, Miles said the league's strength of schedule makes the winner of the league at least one of the top two teams in America.
"Everybody within this league plays a very difficult schedule," Miles said. "I think the champion of this league should very well have the opportunity to play in that national championship game until somebody proves that the winner of this league is not the nation's best team."

"On the cusp of the rule change, it'll be very interesting to see if some of the best teams are left on the sideline," Miles said. "Nationally, in this conference there are a number of very skillful teams that receive a strong national ranking and we play all of them.
"I think the team that stands on the podium with the SEC championship trophy should get great consideration to play in (the national championship game)," Miles said. "Period." Read more...http://www.nola.com/

Assuming at least two of the three current unbeaten teams (No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Kansas State and No. 3 Notre Dame) stay that way, the BCS Championship Game is more or less set with two of those meeting for the national championship.
With that assumption as a baseline, along with the notion of LSU beating both Ole Miss and Arkansas in the next 12 days, here's a look at the different bowl scenarios for the Tigers with two weeks left in the regular season:
