Tinker Town: " I keep looking at today's date - December-18, or December-19, 20, 21, ECT. The coming Chick-Fli-A  Peach Bowl seem to be freezing still like a  movie theater film that broke.  Leaving us fans twiddling our thumbs."

South end zone scoreboard removed as expansion continues: webcam view

Tiger Stadium's south end zone scoreboard is down and gone forever as LSU presses on with a 6,900-seat expansion. The project cost is an estimated $85 million and will put capacity just short of 100,000 in time for the 2014 football season
Here's a webcam view courtesy of LSUsports.com where fans can check in on the progress of the project. The expansion includes a 1,500-seat upper deck, a 3,000-seat club level and as many as 24 suites.

The south end zone expansion will raise Tiger Stadium capacity to about 99,500 Jim Kleinpeter, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune
Capacity will increase to about 99,500, which would make Tiger Stadium the seventh-largest in the nation and third-largest on-campus venue in the SEC, behind Tennessee (102,455) and Alabama (101,821).

LSU will play the 2013 season without the south scoreboard but will have two large replay boards in either corner of the South end zone. The $100 million bond issue also has provisions for an indoor tennis facility and a gymnastics practice facility. GoldRing: "I am truly tired of hearing other people on HD TV, and the sleazy political politicians tell us what we should or should not do. After a horror crime, like what happen in Connecticut. Common sense is much like decency, it seem to come from with in a person:

We can't do anything for the dead, because they are dead. Only the living is left to help. Pray for the living. Help the living after a child's death. What else can you do. What we can control is mostly a matter of the reality we live in.
Our life is already balanced between hot and cold in a perfect balance for us to live, like magic in a vast empty void. Live as best you can, and stop wasting what time you do have on something you have no control over?"
