How do people get like this? Who would put the American soldiers in more danger than before? And leave the American people more valuable to kidnapping? What kind of a person would do that to the American people?

"Most of all, the Obama administration can be faulted for not at least trying to use the language of communal solidarity to explain this decision. Apparently, we have become such a hyperindividualized culture that it is impossible to even develop an extended argument on how individual cases fit into the larger fabric of the common good.

Still, the president’s instincts were right. His sense of responsibility for a fellow countryman was correct. It’s not about one person; it’s about the principle of all-for-one-and-one-for-all, which is the basis of citizenship."

Politics aside the guy our soldiers was looking far took off his uniform, and turned his back on the guy who would die for him. How could Obama allow anyone to call him a soldier who served with honor and distinction, quote Susan E. Rice?

That is crazy talk. Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl took the U.S. Army uniform off and left his buddies to face the music alone? And then traded five hardcore killers for him and them to go back to hurt the Afghanistan population? My goodness what was President Obama thinking?
