Digging into the roots of LSU’s quarterback quandary

Matt Flynn was “the guy.” Ryan Perrilloux was “the next guy.” Andrew Hatch and Jarrett Lee were the “developing third guys” and Jordan Jefferson was the guy scheduled for a redshirt.

Flynn graduated. Perrilloux was dismissed. Hatch got hurt. Lee threw a half-dozen interceptions for touchdowns, and Jefferson finished the 2008 season as LSU’s starting quarterback — as a true freshman.

I would have never hired Les Miles from Oklahoma State to begin with. Because Les Miles can't coach and I would have been looking for a fundamentally good sound college football coach instead. Les Miles has always been a waste of time to the LSU football program who has feathered his own personal nest very handsomely. But he never could give to me what I was look for. I wanted a truly good efficient manager who paid a lot of attention to detail. The kind of study that people who are good teachers do and of course Les Miles is not one of those people.

Excuses are for losers in the way LSU wins or lose the important college football game the hard way. Heartbreak hotel either way has worn very thin with me these day, and I am truly tired of looking at Les Miles coach LSU.

Frankly he is boring me now, because 10 years of the same unable to make a first down problem seem to be doing that to me more quickly than ever before. I don't believe anything that he says, or what other coaches say about Les Miles. Because he simply does not have what I want in a college head football coach. I will be glad when he is gone.
