Chief Justice John Roberts turned himself into a swine.

Thomas Williams

The image of John Roberts has changed into a grotesque sight to me. And now I know how Benedict Arnold looked to George Washington Army who were fighting so hard for a country where people could trust in their Government leaders so they could obey the laws, and keep the faith with their neighbors. No! Now Chief Justice John Roberts of the United States Supreme Court has sold out his countryman, and country forefather spirit in the United States Constitution. And traded this country sacred trust, honor, and faith in the U.S. Supreme Court for John Roberts own mind eye popular political image, for that Institutional branch of Government to be the light and reflect of John Roberts selfish political reasons.

So I now want to damn Chief Justice John Roberts’s person and memory into an eternity of personal shame, which he now deserves. Becoming a member of the most infamous betrayers in history like Judas Iscariot, Benedict Arnold, Marcus Brutus, and Dona Marina. That I still feel no satisfaction in that truth because our nation’s population were indeed harmed because of Chief Justice John Roberts’s dirty rotten deceit. Pretending to defend the Constitution of the United States and we the American people must go through a lot of turmoil, disappointment and division because of him.

Be Careful What You Wish For: Citizens United and the GOP

Posted: 07/31/2015 7:43 am EDT

You have to be a real NFL junkie or an embittered Philadelphia Eagles fan like me to remember the name: Norman Braman.

Braman is a billionaire businessman who owned the Philadelphia Eagles from 1985-1994. The former Philadelphian now lives in Florida and was in the news recently announcing his support for the presidential campaign of Florida Senator Marco Rubio, vowing to spend as much as $10 million of his own money to pump up Rubio's campaign.

This news ought to send chills down the spines of Rubio supporters because, as any Philadelphian will remind them, it was Braman who hired Rich Kotite as Eagles' head coach. Kotite inherited a good Eagles team and in six seasons ran it into the ground. (He then went to the Jets where in 2 seasons compiled a 4-28 record). If Kotite is any indication of Braman's ability to pick winners, Rubio is doomed.

Whether or not Norman Braman knows how to evaluate talent, however, his bankrolling of Rubio's campaign helps explain why the GOP presidential jousting has descended into a 16-ring circus. What we are seeing is the unintended -- and thoroughly ironic -- consequence of the Supreme Court's Citizens United case.
