#7 treats everyone the same way.

Thomas Williams

The LSU opponents must gang tackle Leonard because otherwise he simply runs over the tackler unless he trips somehow. So that of course leave the other part of the field open to a different play that should be successful because the LSU opponent is ganging up on #7. And it really doesn't matter all that much if LSU is playing against Texas A&M, or Alabama, because Leonard treat everyone the same way.

To tell you the truth there is not much else the LSU opponents can do to defend better against a fast hard running RB like #7? And your guess is as good as the rest because this is going to be something to see for real. Wow! Leonard Fournette is truly an above average running back that I haven't seen in a long time.

"You gotta have a plan," LSU safety Jamal Adams said.

Florida safety Marcus Maye didn't have one last season when he met LSU running back Leonard Fournette head-on at the Florida 7, then hung on like he was roadkill on the grill of an 18-wheeler until Fournette was in the end zone.

"You gotta have a plan, man," Adams repeated.

Texas A&M safety Howard Matthews' idea last Thanksgiving was to get as low as possible to take on Fournette. A moment later, Fournette was in the end zone for a 22-yard TD and Matthews was on his back staring into cold Texas sky wishing he was home eating a turkey drumstick watching the game on TV and laughing at the guy who just got trucked by No. 7.

"You really gotta have a plan, you really do," Adams said, once more with feeling.
