One
of the most connected sources in the coaching industry thinks the
rumors that LSU is pursuing Jimbo Fisher to replace Les Miles are "100
percent” true.
Scott
Roussel of FootballScoop.com told Bleacher Report Afternoon Drive’s
radio show yesterday that Fisher is the man LSU has targeted. Roussel
later re-affirmed those comments to Tiger Rag.
"There's
no way that LSU would be moving forward with this discussion unless
they were exceptionally confident that they had their next guy,” Roussel said. "There's been no discussion of anybody other than Jimbo Fisher as I understand it.”
Fisher
was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at LSU both under
Nick Saban (2000-2004) and Les Miles (2005-2006), before moving to
Florida State as QBs coach/offensive coordinator/coach-in-waiting under
Bobby Bowden. He succeeded Bowden as head coach in 2010 and has since
posted a 67-13 record, with four ACC Atlantic division titles, three ACC
overall titles, and the 2013 National Championship.
It
is widely believed Miles will coach his final game as LSU’s head coach
Saturday against Texas A&M. After that, Roussel believes Fisher will
be named head coach.
"It's my full belief, if they pull the trigger and move Les out, that Jimbo will be the next coach at LSU,” he said.

Why
do most people keep ignoring Jimbo's family situation? His soon to be
ex-wife is going to move their seriously ill child to a few states away
to accommodate visitation with medical specialists?

Sorry,
that wasn't completely clear... Move the sick child to accommodate
visitation with Jimbo, the ex-husband. And then find new medical
specialists in a different state?

Les is having a rough stretch but think we should find new offensive coordinator and special teams and keep the coach
Be careful what we ask for if we make a change

How
many of Jimbo's players have been arrested in the past 5 years, and how
many arrests were blown off by Jimbo? Do we really want to be the next
Florida State?------------

Les Miles is staying true to form in how he keeps adjust his
personality to play up to the Show for appearance sake. Knowing all
along that his personality doesn't have the winning intangibles of a man
who thoroughly knows his job.
Les Miles starts becoming an entertainer and plays to the emotion of the people around him. After doing that he has nothing else left to help the young college football players become more efficient playing football. And Miles had no imagination for helping the LSU football team to simply make a first down, when the team needed that the most.
The people at that Les Miles Radio Show who likes to share the TV limelight seem to also play up to the Show for the Show sake. Because who in their right mind would shed tears over someone you really don't know and that allowed Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, to comply run roughshod over the LSU fighting tigers football team.
Playing up to the Show for appearance sake does not a coach make, you know what I mean.
