It's time to sack up for another edition of LSU Twitter where, given the circumstances, the mail should be pouring in. LSU fans are likely looking at the final game of coach Les Miles' tenure Saturday against Texas A&M.

The rumors have been swirling more than a week now that Miles is done. LSU (7-3, 4-3) has lost three consecutive games for the first time in 16 years and the swan dive could continue in Tiger Stadium Saturday against the Aggies (8-3, 4-3).

The tumult over Miles' status has completely overshadowed the return of former Tiger defensive coordinator John Chavis in the same position with Texas A&M.

The next order of business is who takes the Mad Hatter's place and the rumor mill spits out Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher's name every time. He's a former offensive coordinator at LSU who worked four years under Nick Saban and two under Miles.

So scroll down and check out this week's questions. If you see something worth commenting on, scroll down to the comment stream and keep the discussion rolling.

@JimKleinpeter Why are the rumors that Jimbo Fisher is who LSU wants?? Winning in ACC is nothing like SEC West. Am I missing something??

@JimKleinpeter What current head coach would you set as the over/under for the caliber of LSU's next guy? ...& would you take the over?

Except for your sports column, and reporting, the sudden silence about the Les Miles story of the local newspapers sports reporters seems very curious to me now. Because what is more important to their readers as the story of Les Miles being replaced coaching the LSU football team. Have the local sports reporters been asked to keep this story quiet until after Saturdays announcement?

You people are living in fantasy land if you think you're getting jimbo fisher. First of all, lsu's not a "destination" program and never has been, there are only a handful of those and right now the only one up for grabs is usc. No elite level coach would choose lsu over a genuine blue blood like that, especially when you consider the natural state of being for the Lsu program is the mid-pack.

But I'll tell ya, the fact of the matter is you're all being suckered anyway. Fisher's playing fsu the same way saban played alabama. Saban never intended to leave bammie for Texas and fisher's sure as hell not leaving fsu for a lesser program like lsu, especially when he's seen how Lsu and it's petty fanbase treats a winning coach. No no, like saban fisher will parlay all this hopeful chatter into a fat raise and he'll do it at lsu's expense.

There are a lot of job openings and only a handful of good candidates. About the best you boys can hope for is an up and coming coordinator and not much else.

Reauxll tide fellas

How much will all this hope and change cost?? Glad I'm not paying for most of it. Bad timing on getting rid of Les in his buy out clause. Les will be laughing all the way to the bank.

@lostamer A net cost of $20 million to pay off Les and Jimbo's buyout, if he comes. It''s monopoly money to these guys. It took me a while to believe it because I can't imagine spending that much on this.

@Jim Kleinpeter, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune @lostamer A fool and his money, good hunting Tiger Boosters. It should be fun to watch and listen. I always thought the Mad Hatter was worth the price of admission. Grass eating antics, time clock management, illegal formation, delay of game ect.
