LSU is run not by a good old boys club at all.

------------
Thomas Williams:

So who should get the blame for LSU not becoming an efficient offense on the football field as Head Coach Les Miles has yet to field a very good QB this year or next?

Why did the LSU Athletic Department keep given Coach Les Miles a raise and extension on his yearly salary coaching the LSU football team, when in fact Les Miles were not going anywhere else to Coach?

Why is the LSU Athletic Department so full of people who can’t manage their way out of a paper bag?

The trouble with LSU football team moving the football is not just because LSU lacks a good enough QB, but is first found in the bad management of the LSU Athletic Department, and also because Les Miles can't coach.

And now the people living in China also know that this LSU Athletic Department is run by a bunch of no talented crony Louisiana good old boys, who doesn't know what the hell they are doing. And not the fault of the media, or college football players, at all.

Did you ever see a better college running back than the Old War Skule #7 Leonard Fournette.

Fournette doesn't get Heisman invite, but Leonard is no loser: Ron Higgins

If LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette is feeling a tinge sad because he wasn't among the three players invited to New York for Saturday's Heisman Trophy ceremony, he shouldn't be.

Yes, he faded down the stretch while Alabama junior running back Derrick Henry had four phenomenal games when the spotlight was shining the brightest.

Henry joined Clemson sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson and Stanford junior running back Christian McCaffrey as Heisman ceremony invitees.

But Fournette, who broke Charles Alexander's single-season LSU rushing record and who still leads the nation in rushing averaging 158.3 yards, never backed off an inch these last few weeks.

Even when he lost two of his primary blockers to season-ending injuries and when defenses began stacking the box to stop him, because they correctly assessed LSU's passing game wasn't effective enough to win games, Fournette didn't blink while trucking head-on into piles of waiting tacklers.

The amount of yardage Fournette gains after contact is phenomenal. It was really noticeable the last half of the season when he had few clear paths and rarely got to the linebackers and secondary untouched.

I remember he did the Heisman stance in ether his first or second game at LSU. He is very talented, but you have to be a little humble!!!!!

@Sugar Melts: that's old news and has nothing to do with his accomplishments this season. You say he isn't humble, and disregard everything that he has done in the past 2 years.
I'm not sure what your agenda is, but it obviously isn't very constructive.

If you have time and the inclination, go back and read Leonard's comments this season.  Fournette wasn't talking Heisman this season; it was the sportswriters who were doing all of the speculation.
