The night was heavy and the air was hot on this Halloween night. LSU was behind Ole Miss 3 to 0 and unable to move the football as the tension spread in the crowd from one into the other staring at the field on a misty rainy water soaked LSU Tiger Stadium Football field.
Both college football teams were undefeated and the winner would in all likelihood go on to be the 1959 SEC Champion.
The attention of the population of people in Mississippi and Louisiana were closely listening to the play by play on their radios still wondering just who was the best out of the two.

Tonight LSU has RB Leonard Fournette expected to play after recovering from a nagging ankle injury. LSU QB position has improved over last years 2015 LSU team that is now in the hand of QB Danny Etling.
Head Coach Les Miles refused to change his LSU offense over the years of his tenure and was replaced by interim LSU Head Coach Ed Orgeron.
