To quote Ed, "Geaux Tigers!

Thomas Williams

Ed Orgeron is quite a true story. About a true born Louisiana boy that lived roughly and experiencing some hard knocks. Having success and then had some more bad turns that knock him down and out of college football. With the present LSU Football Program giving him another Head Coaching opportunity to have some more success.

This Ed Orgeron true life story truly does make some very entertaining reading. That has me liking him a lot now that I have seen this LSU football team playing college football in an efficient methodically way just because of Ed Orgeron managing ability with his LSU coaching staff and players, and his very Louisiana personality.

Coach O brought the O.

And, oh, it was something.

Under its fiery new Cajun leader, LSU blasted Missouri 42-7 on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium, rolling up the most yards (634) in a Southeastern Conference game in school history and stuffing the league’s top-ranked offense in Ed Orgeron’s dashing debut as interim head coach.

Running back Derrius Guice, subbing for an injured Leonard Fournette, ran for a career-high 163 yards, scored three first-half touchdowns and helped Coach O and the Tigers (3-2, 2-1) jump out to 35-0 lead. They coasted to a romping win in front of an announced 102,071.
"Whole week," Orgeron said, "you can feel the state of Louisiana on fire."
They're toasty now. This one was never in doubt.

"We played for 60 minutes," Orgeron said. "We put the pedal to the metal. ... We’re just getting started."
