THE ANUS MONOLOGUES
December 31, 2013
Anyone who utters the mind-numbingly obvious point that A&E's suspension of "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson doesn't involve the First Amendment because a TV network is not the government, should be prohibited from ever talking in public again. You can bore your few remaining friends with laborious statements of the obvious, but stop wasting everyone else's time.
We know A&E is not the government. It may shock your tiny little pea brains, but free speech existed even before we had a Constitution. Free speech is generally considered a desirable goal even apart from its inclusion in the nation's founding document.
Suppose TV networks were capitulating to angry Muslims by suspending people for saying they opposed Sharia law? Would that prompt any of you pusillanimous hacks to finally take a position on the state of free speech in America?
Or would you demand that we stop the presses so you could roll out your little cliche about a television network not being the government? That fact has very little relevance to someone whose life has just been ruined. Hey! Don't worry about it -- at least it wasn't the government!
Instead of the government censoring speech, what we have is shock troops of liberal agitators demanding people's heads for the slightest divergence from Officially Approved Liberal Opinion.
Evidently, the word of God is on the banned list. As Robertson himself has said, all he did "was quote from the Scriptures, but they just didn't know it."
His offending remarks delivered to GQ magazine were:
"Everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong. Sin becomes fine ... Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men. Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers -- they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right." Read More »

- Hillary Clinton will kick off her 2016 presidential campaign with the slogan, “Really, now: What difference, at this point, does it make?”
- No newspaper, magazine, Web site or TV station — anywhere — will mention a single word about Kim Kardashian.
- After leaving City Hall for good, Mike Bloomberg will vanish completely from the political stage.
- He’ll then start an international conglomerate that specializes in the manufacture of guns, cigarettes and large sugary beverages.
- US professors will launch a boycott against Palestinians for waging terror attacks against Israelis.
- New York will acquire a branch of the Republican Party.
- ObamaCare will extend health insurance to more Americans.
- ObamaCare will make it easier for Americans to see the doctors they like.
- ObamaCare will bend the nation’s health-cost curve downward.
- ObamaCare will improve medical care for Americans.
- If you like your current health plan, well, you know . . .
- Someone will fill the shoes of Yankee closer Mariano Rivera.
- Gov. Cuomo will put the state’s future above his own and end the 5-year-old “temporary” ban on fracking in New York.
- With US troops gone, Afghanistan will become a shining model of liberal democracy, an economic powerhouse and a formidable ally in the War on Terror.
- Assembly Speaker Shelly Silver will be given the nation’s highest award for Most Ethical Political Leader.

Remembering Michael Hastings
Tinker
I was presently remembering Michael Hastings who wrote the book Panic 2012, a inside story over just how the establishment News Media was so controlling about who they left in or out of the press core click covering Barack Obama presidential campaign. How the press core scolded Hastings over him becoming so open about what he was reporting to the American people.
Michael Hastings lost his life when he was only 34 years old right after writing this book: Panic 2012.
--------------
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Michael Hastings died in a single-vehicle automobile crash in his Mercedes C250 Coupé at approximately 4:25 a.m. in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles on June 18, 2013.[49] A witness to the crash said the car seemed to be traveling at maximum speed and was creating sparks and flames before it fishtailed and crashed into a palm tree.[50][51] Video from a nearby security camera purportedly shows Hastings' vehicle speeding and bursting into flames after crashing.[52]
Witnesses described the car's engine being ejected 50 to 60 yards from the scene.[51][53] Hastings' body was burned beyond recognition. The coroner identified the body by matching fingerprints with those the FBI had on file.[54][55] Two days after the crash, the Los Angeles Police Department declared that there were no signs of foul play.[56]
The coroner's report ruled the death of Hastings to be an accident.[57] An autopsy showed that the cause of death was massive blunt force trauma consistent with a high-speed crash.[57]
Hastings was eulogized in the media by figures such as Christopher Hayes,[58] Rachel Maddow,[59] his co-workers at BuzzFeed,[60] and others.[61]

Jeremy Hill carries LSU to 21-14 win over Iowa in the Outback Bowl
1/1/2014
Jeremy
Hill rushed for a career-high 216 yards and two touchdowns, and LSU's
defense held Iowa to 233 yards in a 21-14 Outback Bowl victory.
The win gave LSU 10 wins for the seventh time under Les Miles, more than the rest of LSU's coaches combined all-time.
Anthony
Jennings opened the scoring for LSU (10-3) with a three yard rushing
score in the first quarter. Hill added a second with 2:52 left in the
first half for a 14-0 halftime lead.
Following
what looked like a pick six from Iowa safety John Lowdermilk, Mark
Weisman got Iowa (8-5) on the board with 52 seconds left in the third
quarter. Lowdermilk returned a Jennings pass 70 yards but dropped the
ball just short of the endzone in a premature celebration, setting up
the score for Weisman.
Hill looked to ice
things late in the fourth with his second touchdown from 37 yards,
capping off a 92 yard drive. But Jordan Cotton returned the ensuing kick
96 yards to set up a C.J. Beathard touchdown pass to Kevonte
Martin-Manley with 1:42, keeping the Hawkeyes' hopes alive.
LSU would recover the onside kick attempt and run out the clock for the win.

Craig Loston's interception stopped a potential game-tying drive, giving Hill a chance to put the game out of reach by carrying four times for 87 yards on a six-play, 92 yard march that gave the Tigers (10-3) a 21-7 lead.
Iowa (8-5) again pulled within a touchdown after Jordan Cotton returned the ensuing kickoff to the Tigers' 4.
Jennings rushed for a touchdown but only threw for 82 yards while standing in for the injured Zach Mettenberger in the freshman's first college start.
Backup quarterback C.J. Beathard `s fourth-down interception stopped one promising drive for Iowa, but he also tossed a 4-yard TD pass to Kevonte Martin-Manley to trim the Hawkeyes' deficit to 21-14 with 1:42 remaining.

LSU football stands at the door of greatness again (Posted on 1/1/14 at 9:52 am)
Will it enter this time?
During the Les Miles era at LSU, the program has stood at the door of taking the next step up to greatness, but not entered. During the first decade of the 21st century, LSU was considered the front runner for team of the decade. It was the first team to win two BCS titles. It had just come off its second title, recruits around the country were lining up to come to LSU. It was thought LSU was primed to start a long and dominant run. Then 2008 and 2009 happened.
Les Miles, The River Boat Gambler would do what is necessary to win games. Then it became Les 'play to not lose' Miles.
Next Les Miles had gone 4-0 in bowl games at LSU in dominaing fashion having blown out teams in each, including storied programs Miami, ND, Ohio State and Georgia Tech. There was talk that given the bowl prep time, Miles was almost impossible to beat. Then 1-3 bowl record happened.
In 2011 LSU had what many were stating could be the greatest team of all time. They dominated their competition. They went to Bama and beat Bama in their house. They conquered argubably the hardest regular season schedule of all time. They needed to win one game to claim thier spot of one of the greatest of all time. Then 1/9 happened in our back yard.
Well here we are again at the door of greatness. Louisiana has possibly its greatest class of recruits ever. The number 1 RB, WR, OT, Athlete, and argably TE and DL in the nation. Most wrote in LSU with the number one class. We suffered a couple of losses from class but still can be the number one class and arguably the gretest class of all time. Will we go through that door?
I believe today's game will be a precursor of whether we enter that door. If LSU comes out and dominates Iowa with AJ having an excellent game, I believe LSU walks through that door, gains the number 1 class, and goes on to the greatness over the next few years that has eluded it.
I know TLDR. But I had to say it, it has been on my mind.

Good morning, Tiger Fans,
In our first look at LSU in 2014, the Tigers looked a lot more like the 2012 team than the 2013 team as LSU defeated Iowa 21-14 with solid defensive play, a dominating running game, and a less than stellar quarterback performance. With the win, LSU (10-3) ended the season with at least 10 wins for a school-best fourth consecutive time, and that’s nothing to sneeze at.
Like many of you, I had hoped to see freshman Anthony Jennings have the type of game that would leave us bubbling with confidence about the quarterback position for next season, but that wasn’t the case. Jennings looked fine early on, and seemed to be gaining confidence after completing a 29-yard pass to Odell Beckham, Jr. on this ridiculously incredible, Sports Center worthy one-handed catch, but two plays later he threw his first interception as an LSU quarterback and never looked quite the same after that. Jennings ended the night 7-for-19 with 82 yards and one interception.
Unlike many fans I heard from within minutes of the game’s end, I’m not nearly ready to write off Jennings, but I must admit that I saw nothing from him that says the starting role is his next season. I look for a heated battle between Jennings and LSU signee Brandon Harris this spring and summer.
The MVP of the game was clearly Jeremy Hill who rushed for a carreer-high 216 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. His 216 yards in a single game were the most for an LSU player since Alley Broussard set the school record with 250 against Ole Miss back in 2004. Hill started the game strong and ended even stronger, and that’s one mark of a truly elite running back. Within the next few days we should know whether or not Hill, and the draft-eligible juniors, will stick around for another year, but I would be very surprised if Hill does.
Although quarterback play didn’t give us any reason to be particularly optimistic about next year, I did see many very encouraging signs from the offensive line, the entire defense, and punter Jamie Keehn. The offensive line played one of its better games of the season against the 7th ranked defense in the country, and four of the five starters will likely return and be even better next year. The one exception is La’el Collins who is likely to leave early for the NFL. On the other side of the ball, LSU’s defensive line was outstanding even without Ego Ferguson, and I was particularly impressed with youngsters Christian LaCouture, Quintin Thomas and Danielle Hunter who will all return. I also continue to be impressed with the play of play of freshman cornerbacks TréDavious White and Rashard Robinson and predict that they will rekindle LSU’s DBU moniker next season and earn All-America honors before leaving LSU. As for Keehn, he had the best and most consistent game of his career as he punted 10 times for a 46.9-yard average, including four of 50 yards or more.
Several seniors went out with their best game of the year, and that was great to see. In fact, Craig Loston may have played the best game of his career as he recorded six solo tackles, a huge pass breakup on a smashing hit, and his third interception of the season. Senior Lamin Barrow also had a big game and ended with five tackles (three solo), including one tackle-for-loss. Another senior who had a season-best performance was James Wright who was superb on special teams and instrumental in pinning the Hawkeyes deep in their own territory when he batted back a Jamie Keehn punt out to the five-yard-line. Wright also recovered Iowa’s muffed punt early in the second quarter.
Below are a few more stats from the game, and here are LSU’s video highlights.
While yesterday’s game gave some reason for optimism for LSU’s football future, today could offer many more. With five major targets expected to announce their schools of choice during this afternoon’s Under Armor All-American game, this could go down as one of the greatest days in LSU football recruiting history. Of course, the flip side is that with all the high expectations and hype surrounding these announcements, many Tiger Fans will be devastated if LSU doesn’t land at least three of the five. My honest opinion is that LSU stands a decent chance of landing all five, but I’ve done this long enough to know that predicting something so grandiose and unprecedented is not wise. Instead, I'm going to predict that LSU lands at least three and probably four of the following five, and if that holds true I’ll be as happy as a clam.
LSU’s Top-5 Targets Who Will Be Announcing in Today’s Under Armour All-America Game which starts at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN:
Gerald Willis - 85%
DE/DT, 6'3", 255, Edna Karr, No. 8 on my list of Top LA Prospects
As Mike Detillier stated in one of our previous interviews, Willis is someone who can be a huge difference maker coming off the edge. He utilizes good technique, has a big frame and can motor up the field fast. Willis is expected to choose between LSU, Texas A&M and Florida.
Jamal Adams - 75%
S, 6'0", 200, Carrollton, TX
Adams, a hard-hitting ballhawk with quick feet and tremendous closing speed, is expected to choose between LSU and Florida.
Leonard Fournette - 70%
RB, 6'1", 230, St. Augustine, No. 1 on my list of Top LA Prospects
Fournette needs no introduction as he is widely considered not only the top prospect in the state of Louisiana but also in the entire country. Fournette is expected to choose between LSU and Alabama, and it would be heartbreaking to see him pick the Crimson Tide considering what a big position of need running back is, and the success Nick Saban has has already had in Louisiana this year.
Tony Brown - 65%
CB, 6'0", 188, Beaumont, TX
Brown is dual-sport speedster (track and football) and one of the top cornerbacks in the country. As you would expect from a track star, Brown has great recovery speed, but he also has great technique and can really bring the wood. Brown is expected to choose between LSU, Alabama, and Ohio State.
Speedy Noil - 50%
WR, 5'10", 175, Edna Karr, No. 4 on my list of Top LA Prospects
Noil is an elite athlete who will play wide receiver at the next level. As his name suggests, Speedy plays at a very high speed, but he also has great hands and is elusive after the catch. Of the five players listed above, Noil concerns me the most as he has given lots of indications lately that he is high on Texas A&M.
Those of you who will not be able to watch the Under Armor game this afternoon, be sure to follow @DandyDonLSU on Twitter and I’ll let you know what each of these players decides.
