Why in the world does the American citizens believe anything coming from the obviously corrupt United States Government these days?
The American people government and country is corrupted
from the top to the bottom, so why are a lot of American people pretending that they
don't know this.
That the NSA, Supreme Court, Criminal & Civil Justice System, Congress, Business, Media, Hospital, Schools, Science, Church, and American people, are all guilty of the same crime, social corruption.

LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings manages Outback Bowl win in first start
Freshman gets the win, not the wow“He was tight as heck.” Les Miles, LSU coach on freshman quarterback Anthony JenningsTAMPA, Fla. — Anthony Jennings became just the second quarterback in LSU history to get his first start in a bowl game.
Just like Matt Flynn in the 2005 Peach Bowl, Jennings got the victory.
But unlike Flynn, who garnered Most Valuable Player honors in that blowout win over Miami almost a decade ago, Jennings struggled in his debut as a starter.
Jennings, a freshman from Marietta, Ga., completed just 7 of 19 passes for 82 yards and threw a crucial interception in LSU’s 21-14 victory over Iowa on Wednesday in the Outback Bowl.
“The young quarterback, it was his first time out,” said LSU coach Les Miles. “He did some things that he would like to have back. But he managed the game and came away with a victory.” Read more...http://theadvocate.com/

I
thought that Anthony Jennings was more of a scrambling QB than what he
showed us in the Outback Bowl. Because of his running ability. I was
waiting for him to simply run out of the way of getting sacked. Alas! No
he gave me the impression that if you told him to stand in the pocket.
That he was going to do that no matter what.
You know what I mean, a little on the stupid side. I hope no one tells him to jump off of a cliff anytime soon, because apparently he will, and the LSU tiger football team will need to scramble around again for another starting QB.
Watch out for what you tell him coaxch?

TAMPA, Fla. -- In an uncharacteristically up-and-down season with more downs than ups, the LSU defense has absorbed plenty of slings and arrows. Even very stingy performances against Florida and Texas A&M were followed by a sock-in-the-gut loss at Ole Miss and near-stunning upset against a bad Arkansas team.
So the notion of the Tigers leaning on that unit for a victory in the last lap of the season was far-fetched at best.
Surprise, surprise.
LSU gritted out a 21-14 triumph against Iowa on Wednesday at Raymond James Stadium in the 2014 Outback Bowl on a day when the offense outside of Jeremy Hill was anemic and completely opposite of what the Tigers had shown all season of promise under first-year offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.
And it was the beleaguered LSU defense that provided one life line after another.
The two touchdowns Iowa scored after a 71-yard interception return and a 92yard kickoff return, two drives that covered 5 total yards.
Five times in the first half, Iowa (8-5) went three-and-out on the way to only 77 yards.
The Hawkeyes got into a rhythm in the second half, buoyed by the first series after halftime when they marched 58 yards on 13 plays and gobbled up 6:13 - their longest of the day in both plays and time. But Mike Meyer's 35-yard field goal wobbled wide right.
Whatever shot at momentum went up in smoke, and the survived threat turned the LSU defense back in the right direction.
LSU's Lamin Barrow said it was the defense's turn to step up: Video
LSU LB Lamin Barrow was proud of the way the defense responded in the Outback Bowl win over Iowa.
"We just had to calm down," senior linebacker Lamin
Barrow said after he recorded 5 tackles in college finale. "They finally put
together a good drive against us, and when they missed that field goal, it was
a momentum boost for us. We knew we had taken their best shot and it was just a
matter of getting back to what we'd been doing all day long."
You know what I mean, a little on the stupid side. I hope no one tells him to jump off of a cliff anytime soon, because apparently he will, and the LSU tiger football team will need to scramble around again for another starting QB.

Outside of the first drive of the third quarter, the
Hawkeyes offense never found a comfort zone against the Tigers (10-3). Iowa
managed only 233 total yards and 11 first downs, punted seven times and turned
the ball over twice and whiffed on its best chance to produce points on a long
drive with a missed field goal.Five times in the first half, Iowa (8-5) went three-and-out on the way to only 77 yards.

Whatever shot at momentum went up in smoke, and the survived threat turned the LSU defense back in the right direction.
What the Tigers did so well covered several layers.
Freshman cornerbacks Tre'Davious White and Rashard Robinson again stood tall in one-on-one man coverage, forcing Iowa QBs Jake Rudock and C.J. Beathard into a combined 13-of-30 day. White swiped a Rudock pass headed toward the goal line in the second quarter.
The Tigers' front four suffocated the Iowa rushing attack at the point of attack, especially on stretch plays that repeatedly went nowhere. Bulky tailback Mark Weisman finished with only 37 yards on 18 totes, no run longer than 7 yards.
And the often-maligned linebackers were quietly spectacular, plugging gaps or "fits" to redirect the running game and free up the defensive linemen to penetrate and harass the quarterbacks into quick and unsuccessful decisions.
"The way we practiced leading up to the bowl game, we expected this from ourselves," Barrow said. "We felt like we could play this wall all season long, and it showed up (Wednesday).
"The type of offense (Iowa) runs, they're a ground-and-pound team, and on that first series, I think they saw it was going to be a tough day. Then when they started getting some confidence going, we adjusted well to whatever they tried to do."
Those adjustments were particularly noticeable after the missed field goal.

Good morning, Tigers Fans,
LSU picked up two major commitments yesterday in five-stars Leonard Fournette (the top player not only in the state but in the country) and safety Jamal Adams of Carrollton, TX. With their verbals, LSU’s 2014 class now contains 18 commitments and is ranked 5th in 247Sports’ Team Rankings.
At any other time in the history of LSU recruiting, that news would have Tiger Fans dancing in the streets, and rightfully so. Fournette and Adams are as good as they come at their respective positions – running back and safety – and will fill major team needs. But, because of the high expectations for yesterday’s Under Armour announcements, the mood today is less than celebratory.
As most of you know, three other big-time LSU targets announced their schools of choice during the game and chose other destinations, and what hurts the most is that two of them are from Edna Karr high school right here in Louisiana. Wide receiver Speedy Noil was the first to announce and he choose Texas A&M. That wasn’t a shock, and considering that we are in great shape with Malachi Dupré and already have commitments from three quality wide receivers (including my top receiver in the state, Trey Quinn), losing out on Noil was not devastating. The other in-state player to spurn LSU was defensive lineman Gerald Willis, and his loss was more significant and surprising. The Tigers have a strong need for defensive linemen in this class, and only have one so far in Devon Godchaux. The other target that LSU was widely expected to land was dual-sport superstar cornerback Tony Brown of Texas, but he chose Alabama, despite the fact that his sister is a member of the LSU track team.
While the day didn’t go as well as hoped, it was still a remarkable day and LSU was the clear winner among teams competing for verbals. Of the seven players who announced during the game, LSU led the way with two commits. Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Florida State and Texas A&M each had one. That may not be much consolation for those of us expecting to land more than two-of-five targets, but to help put it in perspective, consider that Alabama only landed one of its four targets. (And after Alabama’s loss to Oklahoma last night, their fans certainly have a lot more to be down about today than we do.) What makes yesterday’s events particularly hard to swallow is that LSU lost out on two elite in-state players, and that’s concerning. The purple and gold fence that once stood strong around Louisiana has weakened considerably, and needs to be mended.
After yesterday’s announcements, I reached out to Mike Detillier to get his thoughts on Fournette, Adams and the Karr kids, as well as the news that Anthony Johnson has officially declared he is entering the draft. Although Mike was at the Sugar Bowl, he took time to answer my questions by email, and I really appreciate that. Take a moment to read what Mike had to say, and I’m sure you will appreciate it too. When Mike returns we’ll continue the interview by further discussing potential early departures.
Before moving on to other news, I want to point out that I’ve added videos of Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams to our Media Gallery. These two guys are beasts! Also, in the coming days we will take a look at what LSU needs to accomplish on the recruiting trail between now and Signing Day.
In basketball news, LSU’s Lady Tigers came away with a huge road win yesterday over No. 5 Tenneessee, 80-77. With all that was going on in recruiting news, and with the Sugar Bowl, I wasn’t able to follow the game, but here is a good recap and a few video highlights by ESPN. Hats off to Nikki Caldwell and her Lady Tigers for a big win.
Coach Johnny Jones and his LSU men’s team will return to action tomorrow at 4 p.m. when they take on Rhode Island at the PMAC. The game was originally scheduled to tipoff at 7 p.m. but was moved up to allow Tiger fans to see it and get home in time to watch the New Orleans Saints’ opening round playoff game. I’ll have a full report on the basketball game in tomorrow’s update.

Reader comments: The Tiger Nation need not be down on this class, we got Fournette and Adams. We have 14 of the Top 300. Noil has been 50/50 since day one. The other kid was from Texas. The Willis kid is Landon Collins’ brother, those 2 kids have spurned their mother as she is a Tiger and wants them at LSU, how you gonna sign a kid like that? We still have several scholarships to give and will end up with a Top 3 class. This years Louisiana Class is so deep, no way we would keep them all. The future is bright, Les needs to get his due as he so often does not. So rejoice, we got the best running back in a long time! Thanks as always for your site.
