College football has changed into the today's "advantage offense" football game.

Tinker Town: "This 2012 college football season is simply moving further and further away from what was known as old time college football. The rules helping the offense have been advanced into the college football games that we see today, with the advantage going to the offensive side of college football. More TD's, and more often, for the entertainment of the American Television viewers. Everything about college and pro football today is made for TV's attention value. Blocking and tackling is simply boring to television views. 3 to 3 ties, bore the TV viewers to death, they really want to see passing and scoring. The college football fans today want to party. They really can't party and scream over a 3 to 3 defensive struggle. Nothing on today's football field is remotely the same as the football games that was in the good old days. Forget about it, those days are over."

Dandy Don's LSU Sports Report
Good morning, Tiger Fans.
When LSU travels to College Station to play Texas A&M Saturday, it will be the first regular season meeting for the teams since 1995 when the Aggies beat the Tigers, 33-17, in the first game of the DiNardo era at LSU. The teams last met in the 2011 Cotton Bowl on January 7 with the Tigers winning, 41-24, in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. While the Tigers and the Aggies have a long and storied past as former rivals, this will be the first time they meet as conference opponents.
As a kid, I loved the weeks leading up to the A&M game because it meant being bombarded by Aggie jokes. Every time we would have Sunday dinner (lunch) at my parents’ house, the men and boys would congregate in the backyard before mealtime to marvel at Dad’s garden and tell a few jokes, and the Aggies were a popular topic. Man, those were good times! Read more...http://www.dandydon.com/
