These song never gets old, and how much do you love the LSU tiger football team?

Tinker Town: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xm3qnh1sck
Criticizing the coaching staff of the LSU football team is considered by some of the LSU tiger football fans as being disloyal to the spirit of the LSU University over all. Loving the LSU team much less then the more devoted LSU tiger football fans. Calling head football coach Les Miles name like coach crackers, (ETC). Is like a knife in the heart of the so call ( true ) LSU fighting tiger football fans.

Love is strange to a lot of people indeed. The LSU tiger football fans who think being critical of the LSU coaching staff is a turncoat low down manner of not being loyal to the LSU spirit. Loyalty to them is if you can't say something nice, better just stay quiet and keep your thoughts to yourself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Y-0nWVdBH4&feature=related
My feeling is much more of a free feeling manner of expression that I can just about be as honest as I can about the way that I feel about the ability of the LSU football coaching staff, and in the end everything will still be alright between us as friends. I like being free to speak my mind about the LSU football team that I feel so close to, to the people I love. If I am holding back or not truly being honest about my feeling, talking to each other about the LSU football team. I feel like a dirty heal and unconformable.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84-5kEZrzjU
This tune is the one that brings us all together each and every time that we hear it. LSU, LSU, LSU, LSU."

The question is then, even with head coach Crackers leading our LSU football team, and all the other deficiency, are we going to fight together as one LSU family against all comers. Well, are we?"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlfAOSYOs4E

East: Lots of ifs for this LSU team

By LES EAST

November 25, 2012

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — It’s hard not to think about how close LSU came to not having to scoreboard watch on this last weekend in November.
The Tigers sat around Saturday, hoping against hope that Auburn and Alabama would both defy logic and somehow Auburn would come away with a stunning victory in the Iron Bowl. It didn’t happen.

They were also hoping — far more realistically — that Texas A&M would beat Missouri and Florida State would beat Florida. After Alabama’s win, the A&M game didn’t mean much to the Tigers. The Florida State game still did, but the Seminoles didn’t come through either.

None of LSU’s goals were unattainable when play began Saturday. That in itself was a pretty significant accomplishment for a team that lost eight starters after the beginning of preseason camp and relied heavily on several first-time starters.
But the Tigers’ championship goals were out of their hands. They were dependent on an Auburn team that was winless in the Southeastern Conference, on an A&M team whose upset victory against Alabama two weeks earlier had mostly just made LSU’s last-minute loss to the Crimson Tide that much harder to bear, and on a Florida State team that largely controlled whether the Tigers could get their consolation prize — a berth in a BCS bowl — once a trip to the SEC title game officially became unattainable.

If only LSU had found a way to beat Bama three weeks earlier instead of letting that regular season-defining game slip from the win column into the loss column in the waning moments.
If only the Tigers had gotten one more first down on their penultimate possession and run out the clock and prevailed 17-14.
Failing that, if they had only found a way to keep the Tide from scoring in the final two minutes. Read more...http://theadvocate.com/sports/lsu/4514394-123/east-lots-of-ifs-for

Story Highlights

  • Oklahoma never led in regulation but still outscored Oklahoma State
  • Tulane kicker Cairo Santos deals a perfect 21-for-21 season on field goals
  • Northweestern coach Pat Fitzgerald ties for the top spot in wins in school history
9:19AM EST November 25. 2012 - Notable performances and accomplishments in college football this weekend, by the numbers.
0: Amount of time Oklahoma led in regulation in its 51-45 overtime win against Oklahoma State. The Sooners scored on Blake Bell's fourth-down run with four seconds to go to set up the extra session. Landry Jones passed for an even 500 yards and three scores on a school-record 46 completions for OU.

1: Games over .500 in Big East play (76-75) in Syracuse's history. The Orange bid farewell to the league Friday with a 38-20 win at Temple. They are headed to the ACC next season.

1: Win this season by defending SWAC champ Grambling, finishing 1-10 after its 38-33 loss to Southern. That's the worst mark for the Tigers since going 1-5-1 in 1941, the first season of 47 as coach for the late Eddie Robinson.

4: Different leagues in which Utah State has played since its last outright league title before clinching the Western Athletic Conference with a 45-9 win against Idaho. The Aggies won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in 1936 and were co-champs of the Mountain States and Big West conferences a combined nine times since. Already with a school-record 10 wins, Utah State (10-2) accepted a invitation to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

5: Touchdown catches by Jasper Collins of Mount Union (Ohio), tying the Division III playoff record, in a 55-13 second-round win against Johns Hopkins (Md.). Collins had four TDs in the first half as the unbeaten Purple Raiders took a 41-7 lead. He finished with 12 catches for 228 yards.

6: Players with at least 100 yards rushing, three from each team, in a 38-35 Division II playoff win by Carson-Newman (Tenn.) against Lenoir-Rhyne (N.C.). The teams combined to run for 922 yards. Lenoir-Rhyne came in giving up just 90 yards a game on the ground but Carson-Newman racked up 397.

16: Wins in two seasons at Kent State under coach Darrell Hazell, the latest 28-6 against Ohio on Friday. That total ties Hazell for seventh in Golden Flashes history.

20: FBS quarterbacks with at least 12,000 career passing yards. Zac Dysert of Miami (Ohio) was the latest to join the group, passing for 218 yards in a 31-24 loss to Ball State to finish with 12,013.

21: Field goals in as many attempts this season by Tulane's Cairo Santos, becoming the second in FBS history to be perfect with at least 20 tries. North Carolina State's Marc Primanti was 20-for-20 in 1996. Santos made a 32-yarder Saturday in a 40-17 loss to Houston.

25: Years since Wagner hosted an NCAA postseason game before a 31-20 win against Colgate in the first round of the FCS playoffs. In 1987, the Seahawks beat Rochester (N.Y.) at home on their way to the Division III title. Coaching them that day — and again Saturday — was Walt Hameline.

47: Years since TCU allowed fewer points to Texas than it did in its 20-13 victory Thursday. TCU beat Texas 25-10 in 1965. The victory was the Horned Frogs' first in Austin since 1967, a span of 15 games. Read more...http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2012/11/25/go-figure-oklahoma-syracuse-utah-state-/1725185/

Gene Chizik fired at Auburn

November, 25, 2012
By Edward Aschoff | ESPN.com
Two years ago, Auburn coach Gene Chizik was celebrating an undefeated season and a national championship. On Saturday, he coached his last game as the Tigers' head coach.

Gene Chizik
Butch Dill/Getty ImagesGene Chizik was dismissed two years after leading the Tigers to their first national title since 1957.

The dismissal of Chizik doesn't come as a surprise at all. Two years removed from a national championship, the Tigers ended the 2012 season 3-9 and went 0-8 in SEC play. It was Auburn's worst season since the Tigers went 3-8 overall and 1-7 in SEC play in 1998. It was also the first time Auburn went winless in SEC play since going 0-6 in 1980. The Tigers had never gone 0-8 against SEC opponents in a season.

The Tigers also finished the regular season near the bottom of the SEC in most major offensive and defensive categories and were outscored 340-224 this season, including 272-81 in SEC play.

It definitely didn't help that the Tigers suffered some absolutely embarrassing losses this season. A
63-21 loss to Texas A&M this season was the worst loss by Auburn since its 68-7 loss to Georgia Tech in 1917. Auburn was also shut out in its last two SEC games and was outscored 150-21 in its final three SEC contests. The Tigers have been outscored by archrival Alabama 91-14 in the past two years.

Although Auburn was relatively young this season, the product on the field wasn't getting better as the year went on, and two new coordinators didn't have much of a positive influence on the Tigers in games. With new offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler, the Tigers finished the season ranked 118th nationally in total offense (305 yards per game), and under new defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder, they ranked 84th in total defense (420.5).

Chizik finished his four-year Auburn career with a 33-19 record (with 14 of those wins coming during the 2010 season) and was 15-17 against SEC opponents. Since winning the national championship in 2010, the Tigers have gone just 11-14 and totally fell apart this fall. There just weren't enough positive signs for the future with Chizik in charge.

Check the SEC blog and ESPN.com for more on Chizik's firing.
